“Lunch at Owen’s Farm Shop, followed by a Walk”
Venue: Owen’s Farmshop, nr. Kirkby Stephen
Lunch has been booked at Owen’s Farmshop, their menu can be found on their website. Gluten Free options are available, and the lady there follows a gluten free diet, so I think we can trust those options.
After lunch the plan is to leave at least one car in the Kirkby Stephen car park whilst another one or two then takes us up to Stenkrith at the south end of Kirkby. We hope to walk along the old railway to Hartley and back to Kirkby via Frank’s Bridge. Please wear suitable shoes and clothes that might suit the weather on the day. (Hopefully, the driver of the car left in Kirkby will be willing to take the other driver/s back to Stenkrith unless we’re feeling very energetic!)
If you only want to join us just for lunch that’s absolutely fine. Numbers can be confirmed with the farm shop nearer the time.
