to our amazing
The school continues to be a welcoming school that serves the local community well. You have created strong relationships with the small number of families whose children attend the school.
Parents and carers speak very highly of the school. Parents said that the small size of the school and the family atmosphere are the defining factors in why they chose to send their children here. They really appreciate that you know every pupil well. They said that the pupils behave well and that they are safe in school. Every parent who responded to Parent View, Ofsted’s online questionnaire, said that they would recommend this school.

As the plaque on the wall indicates there has been a school on this site for
several centuries, but clearly it is not living in the past!
Our local primary school is home to around 16 pupils, in two classes.
- Vacancy for School Governor (22 June 2022)
Asby Endowed School is looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Governing Body from September 2022. It’s a fascinating and rewarding voluntary role which offers a great opportunity to contribute to your local community, and to help give our children the best possible start in life. There is a time commitment of at least six meetings per year, plus occasional visits to the school in between meetings.

- Public Meeting – 12 May 2022 @ 3:30pm
The AES governing body would like to invite parents, carers and community members to a public meeting to discuss the future of Asby Endowed School and the proposal of offering flexi schooling from September 2022.
This will be everyone’s chance to hear all about the things we have been doing and would like to do to increase pupil numbers.
