To celebrate 150 years of St Peter’s church – It was decided to make 5 more pew runners, regular workshops were held on Monday afternoons to complete the task.
The first celebrates the 150 years of St Peter’s.
This runner has a grey pre felt base this was covered with yellow Merino wool. Pre felts were made in shades of green, the letters and numbers cut from these, one of the ladies made a felt image of the church. A border of trailing ivy finishes off the design.
The runner was wet felted in the usual way.
