Asby Churches Together
and the Asby Fellowship
The three churches in Asby have been working together for many years, with regular monthly united services. Nearly fifteen years ago ACT set up the Asby Fellowship, so that members of all three churches could meet together on a regular basis to study the Bible and to learn about & discuss a wide range of Christian issues.
Meetings are held on a fortnightly basis in term time, in members’ homes, currently on a Wednesday evening. Meetings are led by guest speakers (usually, but not always, local priests & pastors), and by members. The usual – but not invariable – pattern of a meeting is a period of worship (usually in the singing of hymns together), followed by a period of Bible (or issue) study and discussion: meetings end with refreshments.
Fellowship meetings are very much not members only occasions; and attendance is by no means limited to regular church worshippers: occasional, or ‘one off’, attendance is welcome.
Details of forthcoming meetings can also be found on the Churches page of this web-site.
Full details of the Autumn 2018 programme will be made available in due course – fist meeting will be 12 September.
