A informal presentation by Len Gibson,
in The Three Greyhounds, commencing around 8pm.
Many of you will have attended Len’s first talk on his youth and early wartime experiences in the Village Hall back on 1 May. Well, Len is eager to take up the story where he had to leave it off on that occasion.
He will be in the Three Greyhounds on Wednesday 26 June.
As we said on the first occasion:
With so many more stories of how he and his fellow prisoners survived at the hands of the Japanese, we’re really not sure where the evening will go as he has so many tales. But they are all interesting and an insight into how he and some of his friends survived.
You can be assured of an interesting, and entertaining, evening!
