“Man’s Search for Meaning”
Victor Frankl
Lead: Karen Royle
One of the outstanding classics to emerge from the Holocaust. The true story of a man’s struggle for survival in Auschwitz and other Nazi concentration camps. Today, this remarkable tribute to hope offers us an avenue to finding greater meaning and purpose in our lives.’
I read this book a few years ago and my brother has recently raved over it. Most certainly one of the best books I have ever read. Obviously horrid in places but very reflective and leaves you thinking deeply about life and how to make the most of every moment. Victor Frankl went on to be a psychiatrist after the war, so the book is a mix of memories from his horrific war time experiences, along with reflections on mental health, challenges we face in life and how we can all think differently.
All welcome – no fees – just come along to listen even if you have not read the book.
